Pet Talk: Meet Gus and Lacey
In tonights Pet Talk we meet two animals up for adoption at the Humane Society of Yuma.
First up is a cat named Lacey. This beautiful cat arrived at the shelter in July. Her markings are very unique as she has a stunning creme and brown coat. Lacey is very friendly and loves the social life. She was an owner turn-in for being destructive, but any cat lover and owner knows that type of behavior kind of goes with the territory of owning a feline. It’s important Lacey goes to a family that will give her enough space to roam and possibly another feline companion. She is a heavier cat weighing an estimated 13 pounds and is already spayed.
Next we have, Gus. This full of energy Pit Bull needs someone who understands the breed. Gus is a playful, energetic dog that needs a home that will give him lots of attention. A backyard is key for a dog like Gus. He needs daily walks and would be a great hiking and swimming companion as he enjoys the water. It’s important that he meet other dogs in the household before getting adopted. Gus would be best suited for a family with older children due to his strength. He weighs a solid 50 pounds and is already neutered.
If you are interested in either Lacey or Gus, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621.
They are open Tuesday through Sunday. For more information you can head to Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page @Madisonkyma.
