95 illegal immigrants found in desert near port of entry
Border Patrol agents found 95 undocumented immigrants who crossed the border illegally near the Lukeville Port of Entry early Saturday.
According to a press release, agents received a report from a National Park Service ranger about a large group of illegal immigrants around eight miles west of the port of entry. Agents located 95 foreign nationals that consisted of multiple families, ranging in age from three months to 60 years, from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.
The group, who were found in good health, was transported to the Ajo Border Patrol for processing. They were then turned over to the Enforcement Removal Office through Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
