Magnitude 4.2 earthquake strikes Ensenada area
A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck the Ensenada, Baja California area at around 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Around 100 people said they felt it on the USGS site with residents in the San Diego area also reporting they felt the quake. The earthquake was around 20 miles away from Ensenada, Mexico.

Initially reported as a category 4.4, the earthquake was then downgraded to a magnitude 4.2.
There were several aftershocks, ranging from magnitude 2.6 to magnitude 3.0 recorded within the following hour.
So far no damages have been reported.
