Firefighters respond to three-alarm fire near RV park

Multiple fire agencies battled a fire that ignited at a riverbed near a local RV park in Seely, Calif. Thursday afternoon.

The Imperial County Fire Department responded to a three-alarm fire Thursday at the river bottom south of Rio Bend RV Park located at 1589 Drew Road. The fire was half a mile away from the RV park and burned two acres.

Authorities said the fire was contained with the help of multiple agencies’ assistance that included El Centro Fire, Holtville Fire, Naval Air Fire, and Brawley Fire Department.
