Man arrested on suspicion of DUI in Calexico
The Calexico Police Department said one driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
CPD said the incident happened Sunday in the 400 Block of Tenth Street. Police said the driver of a white compact vehicle lost control and ended up pinned against a chain link fence and a storage shed.
Police said the three occupants of the vehicle tried to get away but they were located soon after and detained. Officers said the driver was taken into custody for DUI.
A total of four serious traffic collisions occurred throughout the day. CPD wants to remind motorists to please drive safely and to not drink and drive.
