HSOY experiences large intake of animals
The Humane Society of Yuma said it is experiencing a high volume of animal intake this month.
Representatives with HSOY said they’ve seen a dramatic increase of cats and kittens at their facility.
For that reason, they said they encourage the community to consider adoption as well as donating cat food and other resources to the shelter.
They added people should avoid taking liters of kittens to the shelter unless they are in serious distress.
