Crack down on illegal reptile collectors

Arizona Game and Fish Department officials are looking for illegal herpers, or reptile collectors, after several cases of unlawful species collecting have been reported.

Moreover, some of these illegal collectors have their eyes on Yuma reptiles such as the rosy boa.

For that reason, experts are encouraging the public to look out for those illegally removing snakes and other species from their habitat.

Experts said you are encouraged to contact The Arizona Game and Fish Department to report any illegal activity in the Yuma region.
