Glendale PD and FBI searching for bank robbery suspect

Glendale Police Department and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force are asking the public to help identify a man suspected of a robbery at Midfirst Bank located at 6508 W. Bell Rd. in Glendale, Ariz. on Thursday, May 3rd.

Authorities said the robbery happened at 3:20 p.m. and the suspect is described as a white man, in his early to mid-30’s. His hair color was described as dirty blonde. He’s around 5’8″ to 6’01” and weighs 160 to 180 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a light blue long-sleeved flannel shirt, blue jeans, black sunglasses and a camouflage baseball hat.

During the robbery, the suspect handed a demand letter to the teller and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries were reported. Officials said the subject should be considered armed and dangerous.
