Imperial Valley College uses open forum to help select their next president

Imperial Valley College is looking for a new president, and they want your help.

The open forum began at 6 P.M. in in the campus’ science building. The college’s board of trustees wants to give an opportunity for the community to voice their opinions on who they thought was best to lead the college into the future.

“The community appreciates having this lane or avenue feedback to the board of trustees. A lot of times, you don’t get that opportunity,” says Clint Dougherty, IVC Chief Human Resource Officer.

The board plans to announce the next president of Imperial Valley College on May 16.
