Sizzler in El Centro says they’re closed after a truck crashed into the restaurant

EL CENTRO- Sizzler located on North Imperial Avenue in El Centro says they are closed after a truck crashed into their restaurant. According to a restaurant employee, they said four people were injured and taken to the hospital after the incident occurred around lunch time Sunday. They told KYMA that the driver was an elderly man who was on his way to eat at the restaurant.

Sizzler says they plan on re-opening the restaurant on Wednesday.
