Eastbound I-10 reopened after body found on shoulder
A section of eastbound Interstate 10 near Eloy was closed for seven hours so that police could investigate the death of a woman whose body was thrown from a vehicle.
Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves says the woman in her 20s was found on the interstate’s shoulder late Sunday night.
A caller told authorities that the woman, who has not been identified, was thrown from a vehicle.
The circumstances of her death are unknown.
The section of eastbound interstate was reopened Monday morning.
