Lane restrictions scheduled on Interstate 8 this upcoming week

The Arizona Department of Transportation is warning drivers to plan for lane restrictions on Interstate 8 in Yuma this upcoming Thursday, April 19th.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane from westbound Interstate 8 near Harold C. Giss Parkway (milepost 0.42) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on

Contractors are scheduled to drill and pour concrete for a closed-circuit camera and transformer foundation.

Travelers should expect delays and allow extra travel time.

Drivers should slow down, obey posted speed limits, traffic control devices, and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
