Officials remind residents to be cautious after finding rattlesnakes in town

Local fire officials found rattlesnakes in town. With temperatures rising, they are reminding residents to be cautious.

The Quartzsite Fire District shared a video and photo of the two snakes they recently caught. One is a sidewinder rattlesnake and the other is a baby rattlesnake. They say to watch your step and be careful when you pick up anything because a snake could be under it.

Officials recommended that if you see a snake, do not try to take care of it yourself. You can possibly get bitten.
