Two dead and three injured following shooting in Rocky Point
Two people are dead and three more were injured following a shooting that happened in Rocky Point, Mexico over the weekend.
According to La Tribuna de San Luis, gunfire erupted near a well-known bar located at 13th Street and Francisco Villa Pino Suarez Street around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
The two people killed were 44-year-old Ramon Sosol Vazquez and 40-year-old Gabriel Corral Vizcarra. A 19-year-old woman visiting from Phoenix was shot in the leg.
Authorities later located an abandoned vehicle with two AK-47s and one pistol at a highway heading to Caborca, Sonora, La Tribuna reported.
The cause of the shooting is still under investigation.
