Collision results in one death
The California Highway Patrol reported a collision at approximately 6:35 p.m. on Sunday.
42-year-old Daniel Rodriguez was driving a 2015 Honda 300R motorcycle and 67-year-old Dora C. Morales was driving a 2003 Buick Century.
Rodriguez was traveling westbound on Heber Road approaching the intersection with Yourman Road when Morales was traveling eastbound at the same time.
Morales made a left turn directly in front of Rodriguez’s Honda 300R motorcycle and collided head-on with Rodriguez.
Rodriguez sustained blunt force trauma and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Morales suffered non-life threatening injuries.
This collision is currently under investigation.
