A reminder for all taxpayers

Karen Vogel, Treasure-Tax Collector is reminding all taxpayers that the second installment of real property taxes will become delinquent if not paid by 5 p.m. on April 10, 2018.

Payments must be in their office or bear a postmark of the deadline.

Delinquent parcels will receive a ten percent penalty and a ten dollar cost effective April 10.

Property owners who have paid their taxes through impound accounts, but have recently refinanced or paid off their home loans should be aware that they may now be responsible for paying the property tax bills themselves.
