Pet Talk: Meet Dozer and Flea

In tonight’s Pet Talk, we meet a table loving pit bull terrier mix named Dozer and a super outgoing feline named Flea.

We are very excited to announce that for the next couple weeks we will be featuring animals from the Humane Society of Imperial County. That shelter is in dire need of some attention and if you are looking to adopt they have a great selection of animals.

Meet Dozer, a playful tan pit bull terrier mix. Dozer arrived at the shelter as a puppy back in September and is now a year and half. This boy is so cute. He is very protective of his things. He loves to run around and sit high up like a king. He is good with other dogs his size or bigger and is potty trained. Dozer needs a family that is going to take him on regular walks and also give him a large yard to call his own. He is neutered and ready to meet you.

Next we have Flea, an orange and white tabby cat. Now don’t let the name ‘flea’ fool ya, he is perfectly clean and up to date on his shots. He was surrendered by his owners and has been at the shelter for 6 months. Flea gets along with other cats and loves a good head rub. His talent, he can take food from you with his paw. Pretty impressive. He is estimated to be about 4 to 5 years old.

If you are interested in either Dozer or Flea, please call the Humane Society of Imperial County at (760) 352-1911. They are open Tuesday through Saturday. You can also email them at Ivhumanesociety@gmail.com.

NEW to Pet Talk is the “Furry Feature.” If you see an animal featured on our segment and you end up adopting them, we want to know about it, so send your story to Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page @Madisonkyma and you could just make your PET TALK debut!
