U.S. Customs and Border Protection to host hiring event
U.S. Customs and Border Protection will host a CBP officer recruiting event on Friday, March 23, at the American Job Center in El Centro, California.
CBP recruiters will be on hand to answer questions, and to assist with completing the online application. Computers will be available on site for job applicants to use.
CBP officer’s primary responsibility is to detect and prevent terrorists, their weapons and other threats from entering the U.S. while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
CBP Officers are federal law enforcement officers responsible for enforcing more than 400 laws related to trade, contraband, agricultural pests and diseases, and admissibility of individuals.
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at 2799 S. 4 th Street.
