YFD prevents fire from spreading
Yuma Fire Department responded to a blaze Tuesday morning.
The fire occurred around 5 a.m. at Taylor Farms on the 4300 block of Gila Ridge Road. Flames were seen coming from a propane powered forklift that was near a 1000 gallon propane storage tank. Crews contained the fire as the propane burned off and the blaze was then extinguished. A forklift had been in the process of refueling prior to the blaze.
No injuries occurred. The cause is under investigation.
