US Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema to be honored

Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema will be recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with their Spirit of Enterprise Award on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.

Sinema will be recognized for her support of pro-growth policies that help Arizona companies expand and provide more good-paying jobs to Arizonans.

Sinema has won the award for every year of her service for Arizona in Congress.

This is the 30 th year the Chamber has recognized lawmakers for their accomplishments on behalf of businesses and economic growth.

Earlier this month, Sinema helped pass the Congressional Regulatory Review Act through the House, which requires federal agencies to review and update outdated or unnecessary regulations.

In February, Sinema’s Fostering Innovation Act cleared the House. The bill provides commonsense regulatory relief for companies on the cutting edge of scientific and medical research, allowing them to save lives and bring more high-tech, high-wage jobs to Arizona.
