Marine found dead at Miramar Air Station
A Marine was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head at the Marine Air Station Miramar on Monday at around 1:20 p.m.
Lance Cpl. David M. Gonzalez from Yucaipa, Calif. was assigned to Marine Tactical Air Command Squadron (MTACS) 38 and joined the Marine Corps on Dec. 13, 2016, and served as a small arms repair technician.
Gonzalez had no personal awards and was never deployed.
An investigation is currently underway and there are no additional details
available at this time. No foul play is suspected.
