“At this time this case is still under investigation. We have no motive on why the shots were fired,” said Lieutenant Willis.
A neighbor said the sound of gunfire and the unmistakable smell of gunpowder is starting to become normal.
“To close for comfort you know for anybody in the area. There’s children around the area and any one of those bullets can go into somebody else’s home and nobody would ever know if somebody got shot until somebody found them. That’s just not right you know for it to be that way.”
No one has been arrested and no charges have been announced, according to police.
The case is under investigation. Police encourage the community to call 78-CRIME with any tips.
