YPD releases map showing affected properties by Mesa Heights fire
The Yuma Police Department has released a map displaying the affected properties following the Mesa Heights Apartments Fire on January 29th.
Authorities have released the map to show the community the impact the flying embers had and who it affected.
A total of six buildings were a total loss that includes apartments and five homes. Six significant losses involving a vehicle and/or heavy structure damage were also reported. Also, 15 minor damages that involved yard fire, debris fire, and carport screen damage were reported.
Arizona Public Service sustained a heavy loss with power poles and equipment being damaged.
