Man arrested for trespassing on school grounds

A man was arrested Tuesday afternoon for allegations that he was trespassing at Cibola High School.

According to school officials, Jose Luis Ayala Jr., 47, was seen at the high school softball field by witnesses. Those witnesses identified him as the same person who approached a student on January 24.

School official’s tell News 11 that this is the third time Ayala has been seen at the school.

Ayala was booked into Yuma County Detention Center on charges of criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Officials said if Ayala is seen on any school property parents need to contact their local law enforcement.
