Border Patrol agent involved in vehicle versus pedestrian accident

An on-duty Yuma Sector Border Patrol agent was involved in a vehicle versus pedestrian accident in San Luis, Ariz. Saturday morning.

At around 6:45 a.m., San Luis Police Department responded to the incident that occurred at the intersection of Juan Sanchez Boulevard and San Luis Plaza Drive.

Authorities said the agent was driving a Border Patrol vehicle during the incident.

The pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center.

An investigation is currently underway.
