Former CFO of Yuma County sentenced to prison
The former Yuma County chief financial officer who pleaded guilty to one count of sexual misconduct with a 15-year-old boy with autism was sentenced to 1 1/2 years in prison Thursday
Back in August 2017 Scott Holt was arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with the boy.
Holt will now serve 1 1/2 years in prison on one felony count of sexual misconduct with a minor. KYMA News 11 spoke with the victim’s sister, Sandra Padilla, and she said her brother was targeted through the Grindr gay dating app in July 2017. She said that’s how her family was able to connect the pieces by viewing several messages between Holt and her brother.
Padilla says she agrees with what the judge had to say in court. “Since my brother has to go to therapy. He is actually receiving therapy and he actually became more aggressive. The judge wanted to give him more time. He even told him [Holt] that if he would have received this case from the beginning he would have given him more time that he deserved,” said Padilla.

Padilla said before sentencing, an aggravation hearing was held where the court found that her brother suffered emotional hurt as a result of Holt’s actions, which was why the judge decided to impose the highest sentence.
