Topic of the Day: N. Korea wants to talk peace

It seems it’s been an ongoing back and forth between the United States and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. The U.S. as well as the United Nations have been warning North Korea to cease and desist its nuclear weapons program which if anyone has seen the news in recent months, their program has not only not slowed down but has advanced dramatically. Since before the Korean War Armistice the North Korea has promoted anti-American propaganda and now they’re are looking to talk peace.

DPRK representatives have requested to sit down with U.S. officials to discuss a peace treaty; but, skeptics are taking this move with a grain of salt. So far, all that has been reported is the suggestion and according to the latest news out of North Korea their forces continue to be a little too close for comfort near the demilitarized zone and their weapons program continues to move forward.
