Caltrans closing I-8 on- and off- ramps starting Sunday

Caltrans is announcing upcoming ramp work along the Interstate 8 this Sunday, Oct. 22nd.

The I-8 on- and off- ramps will be closed for short durations at Algodones Road/ State Route 186, Winterhaven Drive and Fourth Avenue for recurrent work throughout the week of Oct. 22nd to complete sealing and striping work.

Ramp closures and detours will be scheduled to allow traffic flow in both directions on I-8 and access to local roads to continue.

Signs will be set to warn motorists to the ramp closures and alternate routes.
