PET TALK: Meet “Neve” and “Spartacus”

In tonights Pet Talk we introduce you to a gray and white cat named Spartacus and a black and white Pit bull mix named Neve.

First up is “Spartacus,” a beautiful short haired male adult cat. Spartacus is on the larger size. He was a stray found in Yuma and brought to the shelter back in August. He is a bit timid, but does enjoy attention. His striking eyes and shiny coat are sure to win over anyone who takes the time to meet him. He is neutered and ready to meet you.

Next we have “Neve,” a Pit bull mix that weighs around 53 pounds. She is smaller than most Pit bulls, but she is solid. she loves to play and run around and while her age is unknown, she does seem pretty young and because of this, she needs lots of attention. A sweet girl that would probably love to just snuggle up on the couch with you or go for a run. She’s the best of both worlds. She is a dominant female so she would do best in a home with another animal that will let her take on that role. she was found as a stray in Yuma and has been at the shelter since July.

If you are interested in either Spartacus or Neve, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Sunday.
