Police seeking suspect involved in bank robbery inside grocery store
Yuma Police are searching for a man who robbed the Well’s Fargo Bank l ocated inside the Fry’s Grocery Store at 500 W. 24 th Street Friday afternoon.
The initial investigation revealed the man handed the bank teller a note demanding money. The teller handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled heading westbound.
It is unknown if he was in a vehicle.
The suspect was described as a white male, 5’10”, 160, wearing a Kangol-style hat, long-sleeve dark colored hoodie with a white shirt underneath, sunglasses and had a goatee.
This case is still under investigation.
