YPD will begin new customer service project for community

The Yuma Police Department will begin a new survey project focused on customer service for the community that will begin Aug. 21st.

YPD partnered with Arizona Western College to conduct customer service surveys for citizens who have recently received service from the police department.

With the first part of the program beginning next Monday, YPD Dispatch will ask those who call YPD for a non-emergency situation if they are willing to participate in the survey program.

Participation in the program is completely voluntary.

If the caller agrees, AWC will contact them in the near future to conduct the survey. The survey will last about 10 minutes with questions about the service they received from the officer(s) who handled their call and questions about their neighborhood and community-related concerns.

The survey will only be conducted for a limited time.

Any questions regarding the customer service survey can be directed towards Sergeant Robert Wright of the Quality Assurance Unit at (928) 373-4763.
