One person displaced after camper fire

Rural Metro said a fire destroyed a camper in Somerton Tuesday morning.

Firefighters said the fire was reported at about 8:45 a.m.

The house is located on County 13 and Somerton Ave.

Rural Metro said a Somerton/Cocopah Fire unit arrived at the scene and started the initial attack. Then Rural Metro took over command.

There were no injuries reported.

The Red Cross did assist after the fire. Firefighters said someone was living in the camper.
