“H20 for Heroes” Firehouse Subs water collection

It’s a HOT deal you don’t want to miss out on.

Firehouse Subs is playing the hero in this scenario, to both local first responders and those who are hungry. All day Saturday, get a free medium sub when you donate an unopened 24-pack of water bottles.

This is the fourth year that Firehouse Subs in Yuma has put on this event. The water bottles will be donated to local first responders, both police and fire departments.

This will help keep our local heroes cool when working in the heat for the remaining summer months as dehydration and heat-related illnesses are possible.

Firehouse Subs General Manager, Tim Cannon, said that the community always shows up when it comes time to donate.

“We have always have a great outpouring of help, no matter how the economy is doing here in town. The response has been overwhelming. We have no complaints of how much we get becasue whatever we get is all going to go to our guys and that’s all that counts,” Cannon said.
