Dairy Queen in Foothills abruptly closes after Sheriff’s notice

Dairy Queen’s hot eats and cool treats are no longer among the offerings in the Foothills.

Dairy Queen in the Foothills area off of South Fortuna Road was abruptly closed Sunday afternoon after Yuma County Sheriff’s Office posted a notice that the business could not continue to run after July 31.

Yuma County Sheriff’s Office cited a notice on the glass doors with a restitution of property, meaning under court order the property will be returned to Pioneer Shopping Center, LLC as the rightful owner.

Calls to the business were met either with a busy signal or a recording that the call could not be completed as dialed.

More information to follow as it becomes available.
