Suspect accused of assaulting grandmother with picture frame has history of domestic violence

Officials and court documents confirm 21-year-old Victor Manuel Bravo, Jr. has a history of domestic violence assaults.

Bravo allegedly assaulted his grandmother July 8. According to court documents, his weapon was a picture frame.

Neighbors say they often heard angry yelling and arguing coming from the residence, but never thought it would lead to this.

Bravo has been booked into the Yuma County Detention Center and is facing a charge of first degree murder after his grandmother passed away July 11. An autopsy is scheduled for July 17 to determine the cause of her death.

Victor Manuel Bravo, Jr. is being held on a $1,000,000 cash only bond.
