Opening Statements set to begin in “La Mesa Street Murders” trial
Opening statements for what police call one of the most tragic homicide cases in Yuma’s history, the La Mesa Street Murders, are set to begin Tuesday, February 6th.
50-year-old Preston Strong is being charged with six counts of first degree murder, one count of armed robbery and one count of burglary in connection with the murders. If convicted, he could face the death penalty.
