Thousands gathered in Washington D.C. and millions more watched around the world as the United States welcomed its 45th President; President Donald J. Trump was sworn in Friday morning.
President Trump addressed the nation; he focused his speech on unity and bringing Americans together saying, “We are one nation, and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams, and their success will be our success.
We share one heart, one home and one glorious destiny.” He also placed a strong emphasis on bringing jobs back to the the states and a focus on improving border security.
President Trump thanked his predecessor former president Barack Obama; former presidents Jimmy Carter and George W. Bush were also in attendance.
