$211K going into Mexico seized by CBP officers

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a man who allegedly tried to smuggle $211,000 of unreported cash into Mexico.

Officer say they were inspecting outbound traffic when they referred the 45-year-old man to a more thorough inspection.

While they searched the car, they found the money hidden in the dashboard of the Chevrolet truck he was driving.

The man, the car and money were all turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
