Woman suspected of shooting husband in the face

A woman was arrested after she allegedly shot her husband in the face with a firearm.

Yuma County Sheriff’s Office deputies say Paula Eure, 62, stated she shot her 70-year-old husband in the face, Friday morning.

Deputies were called out to the 11400 block of 39th Lane in the Foothills at 8:42 a.m.

When they arrived Eure told them she and her husband had been arguing since Thursday night.

Eure is facing charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon per domestic violence and aggravated assault.
