Topic of the Day: President Obama Farewell

On Tuesday, President Barack Obama will give his farewell speech but, instead of making his address from the Oval Office President Obama is going back to where it all started. President Obama will give his speech in his hometown of Chicago in front of 20,000 spectators at the country’s largest convention center, McCrormick Place, where he announced his victory both in 2008 and 2012.

During most presidential farewell speeches a variety of topics are addressed; from things they’ve learned as Commander in Chief to any regrets they’ve had. In the end an outgoing president will have a positive message for the American people.
