Right turns only on 16th St. and 4th Ave.

Drivers will no longer be able to drive through the Fourth Avenue and 16th Street intersection starting Monday, January 16.

Crews will begin working on a storm drain that is in the middle of the intersection, limiting drivers to only make right-hand turns.

The storm-drain work is expected to be complete by January 23.

Yuma Police Department officials ask drivers to avoid the busy intersection if at all possible to keep traffic congestion to a minimum.
