Police: Woman shot at Walmart in stable condition
The 25-year-old woman who was shot at Walmart is in stable condition at Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC), according to Yuma Police Department officials.
The shooting happened on Monday shortly after noon in the Walmart parking lot on Pacific Avenue and Palo Verde Street.
Investigators say they do not have a description of the shooter. However, they do have a description of a car in which the suspect may have fled the scene.
“All we know is that it’s a light, four-door car we don’t have any information on the suspect. Yesterday when she was transported to YRMC she was transported in critical condition. As of today she’s in stable condition,” said Edith Ruiz, police assistant.
