YPD advises community on car safety following recent car thefts

As the search continues for 19-year-old car thief D’Andre Jermain Norman, officials advise residents to be proactive by securing their vehicles. The Yuma Police Department says Norman has stolen five vehicles over the past week, and all five cars were left running with their keys in the ignition. Now, the Yuma Police Department is advising the community on car safety, saying it is never a good idea to leave your car running and unattended.
