Woman arrested at Calipatria State Prison
A woman was arrested at the state prison after prison officials found marijuana in the car she was driving.
Prison officials say, Lela Nichelle Moore, 48, was visiting the prison Saturday when the gate house officer noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from her car.
Moore consented to a search of her person and her car where officers say they found a clear small bag containing 2.6 grams of marijuana.
Moore was booked into Imperial County Jail and is facing felony charges.
