New polls show more Arizona voters supporting Clinton

New poll results according to an Arizona Republic/Morrison/Cronkite news poll shows 39 percent of Arizona voters support Hillary Clinton (D), while Donald Trump (R) is backed by 33.9 percent of voters.

In other races, Sen. John McCain (R) is leading against Ann Kirkpatrick (D) by double digits, leading by 51.5 percent, with Kirkpatrick trailing at 40 percent.

After 23 years in office, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio (R) is trailing behind challenger Paul Penzone (D) by nearly 15 points. Penzone currently at 50 percent while Arpaio it sitting at 31.1 percent.

According to that same poll, 50 percent of registered voters favor Proposition 205, which would legalize recreational marijuana, while 42 percent oppose the prop.
