American Idol to host Arizona virtual auditions

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - American Idol is on a virtual nationwide tour and will be stopping in Arizona!

American Idol hopefuls will be able to sign up and virtually audition in front of the show's producers via Zoom.

They'll be able to receive real-time feedback and a chance at making history by being crowned the next American Idol.

The producers advise those who are auditioning to have two to three songs they like ready to sing and perform.

"It enables literally anybody with an internet connection to just sign up and do it from the comfort of their own home. It's the easiest way to audition for Idol ever…And who knows? Somebody from Arizona could possibly be the next American Idol," says Patrick Lynn, a Senior Producer at American Idol.

The auditions will take place next Monday, August 26. To sign up now click here.
