New unemployment low is expected in May jobs report
(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - The May jobs report comes out Friday morning and it's expected to look healthy.
According to a poll of economists by Refinitiv, the U.S. likely added around 350,000 positions last month.
The unemployment rate is projected to be 3.5%, which would be a record-low for the pandemic era.
Analysts say the labor market appears to be near full-recovery despite the U.S. dealing with high inflation and the threat of a possible recession.
The findings from the bureau of labor statistics comes out Friday morning.
