Biden approval rating drops with more young Americans

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - The majority of young Americans aren't too happy with how President Joe Biden is doing.

That's the latest from a new poll out of Harvard that shows just 41% of young Americans approve of his job performance, which is down 5% from this past fall and nearly 20% from last spring.

This Harvard Institute of Politics poll was of people between the ages of 18 and 29, but other recent surveys are seeing the same trend.

The big issue? The economy.

The survey also showed many young people see the current political system as ineffectual.

The overall survey showed these younger Americans consume less political information because they are more likely to be on twitter.

They are also more liberal and more passionate about canceling student debt for everyone.
