Early voting period ending this Friday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - This Friday, October 28, 2022 is the last day to request a mail-in ballot for the General Election.

Voters must turn in their ballots to the County Recorder no later than 7:00pm on Election Day.

If you plan on mailing your ballot, then send it back as soon as possible, but no later than Tuesday, November 1.

The six ballot boxes

However, you can drop it off at any one of the six secure ballot boxes in Yuma County.

One of the ballot boxes is at the County Recorder and Election Offices at 102 S. Main Street.

On the other hand, the other five ballot boxes are at five different libraries across Yuma County:

  • Foothills Library
  • Main Library
  • San Luis Library
  • Somerton Library
  • Wellton Library

Different ways of voting

If you want to secure a main-in ballot, then contact the Yuma County Voter Services at (928) 373-6034.

Also, you can go online at my.arizona.vote.

Aside from the ballot boxes, you can also return the mail-in ballots at any of the eight Vote Centers on Election Day.

Not only that, if you want to vote early and in person, then you can go to the County Recorder and Election Offices.

Any registered voter from Yuma County can vote early Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

This will go until Friday, November 4, 2022.
