Buildings collapsed following earthquake in Taiwan

(CNN) - The United States Geological Survey (USGS) says a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck Taiwan's Southeastern coast.

Furthermore, images sent to the CNN News Desk show some of the devastation it has caused.

During the earthquake, several buildings collapsed and a train got derailed.

So far, four people were trapped under a collapse building, but have been safely rescued.
